1. About the Platform

The Platform is a digital directory and information hub designed to connect individuals seeking menopause-related resources with independent service providers offering products or services. We act solely as a facilitator and publisher of information.

We are not a medical provider, healthcare professional, advisor, agent, broker, or representative of any listed provider.

The Platform may also include clearly disclosed advertising, sponsored content, or promoted listings relevant to its audience, which do not constitute endorsement or recommendation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, submitting a listing, or browsing content, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

  • Use of the Platform is limited to individuals aged 18 years or older.
  • By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

4. User Categories

The Platform has two primary user groups:

a) Resource Seekers
Individuals who browse listings, content, and resources for informational purposes only.

b) Service Providers
Businesses or individuals who submit listings advertising menopause-related products or services.

5. No Medical or Professional Advice

  • The Platform does not provide medical, health, therapeutic, financial, or legal advice.
  • Listings, blog posts, and other content are provided for general information purposes only.
  • Blog content reflects personal opinion or lived experience unless explicitly stated otherwise with verified professional credentials.
  • You must not rely on any content on the Platform as a substitute for professional advice from a qualified practitioner.
  • The Platform is not intended for use in medical emergencies.

6. Listings and Verification

  • Listings may be created either (a) by service providers (claimed listings), or (b) by us using publicly available information as a Free Standard Listing (Unclaimed), until claimed by an authorised representative.
    If you claim a listing, you confirm you are authorised to manage that business/listing and the information you submit is accurate and not misleading.
  • Listings are subject to manual review prior to publication.
  • Review does not constitute endorsement, accreditation, verification of qualifications, or validation of claims.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing.
  • References to “verification” or “approval” relate solely to relevance, completeness, and alignment with the Platform’s scope and values, and do not constitute verification of qualifications, credentials, clinical claims, or outcomes.

7. Service Provider Obligations

By submitting a listing, service providers warrant that:

  • All information provided is accurate, lawful, and not misleading
  • They hold appropriate and current business, professional, and public liability insurance relevant to their services (provider-attested)
  • They comply with all applicable Australian laws, regulations, and professional standards
  • They do not make medical claims, guarantees, or outcome promises unless lawfully permitted
  • These obligations apply equally to all listings, including free, paid, featured, sponsored, or advertised placements.

We do not independently verify insurance coverage or credentials and assume no responsibility for ongoing compliance.

8. Approval, Suspension, and Removal

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, edit, or remove listings without notice, including where:

  • Information is false, misleading, deceptive, or unverified
  • Health or medical claims are inappropriate or unlawful
  • Required insurance or compliance is not maintained
  • Complaints or allegations raise risk of harm or misconduct
  • Listings are inactive, outdated, or abandoned
  • There is reputational or legal risk to the Platform
  • Fees are unpaid or renewal fails
  • Any conduct is inconsistent with the purpose of the Platform

No compensation is payable for suspension or removal.

9. Accounts and Content Management

  • Service providers are responsible for maintaining their own login credentials
  • Providers may edit or request removal of their claimed listings at any time through their account (where available).
    For unclaimed listings, providers may request corrections or removal by contacting us.
  • If a paid listing is cancelled or expires, the listing may be downgraded to the free tier unless removed under clause 8 or unless the provider requests removal. If a provider account is closed, the listing content will be removed.
  • Data will be deleted except where retention is required by law

10. Paid Listings, Fees, and Renewals

  • Listing plans may include:
    • Free Standard Listing (Unclaimed): a basic directory presence (which may be created from publicly available information) and may have limited fields and functionality.
    • Verified Provider (Paid): enhanced listing features and provider-managed profile.
    • Featured Listing (Paid): promoted placement and additional visibility features.
  • Plan features, pricing, and availability may change at any time.
  • We may withdraw, limit, or discontinue the Free Standard Listing option at any time, and we may remove, archive, or restrict free listings if required to manage directory quality and operations. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice.
  • The availability, inclusions, and eligibility for free listings may be changed, limited, paused, or withdrawn at any time at our discretion (for example, to manage directory quality or capacity). Where practicable, we will provide notice and offer affected providers the option to upgrade or have their listing removed.
  • Subscription options may include monthly or discounted annual plans.
  • Renewal notices will be provided prior to renewal dates.
  • One-off fees may apply for premium advertising, sponsorship opportunities, or add-ons.
  • Payment for listings, advertising, or sponsorship does not guarantee visibility levels, enquiries, bookings, or commercial outcomes.

11. Refund Policy

  • Fees are non-refundable once a listing is approved and published
  • No refunds are provided for change of mind, unused time, or early termination
  • Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once commenced
  • This policy does not limit rights under Australian Consumer Law

12. GST

  • We are not currently registered for GST
  • Prices do not include GST
  • If GST registration occurs in the future, prices may be adjusted accordingly

13. Advertising and Sponsored Content

  • The Platform may display advertising, sponsored content or promoted listings. Such content will be clearly identified where required and does not imply endorsement, verification or recommendation by the Platform.
  • Service providers may from time to time sponsor offers, advertisements, or newsletter placements
  • No direct messaging between providers and users is currently enabled
  • Advertising and analytics tools may be used from time to time to improve relevance and performance, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Advertising or sponsored content remains subject to the Platform’s editorial standards and content guidelines and may be amended or removed at our discretion.

14. Intellectual Property and Licence

All Platform branding, layout, and original content are owned by us.

By submitting content (including text, logos, images, and screenshots), service providers grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, display, and publish such content for:

  • Operating the directory
  • Marketing and promoting the Platform
  • Reporting and promotional materials

Ownership of provider content remains with the provider.

15. Privacy and Data

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Only aggregated and anonymised statistics may be shared
  • No personally identifiable user data is sold or disclosed

16. Third-Party Links and Interactions

  • The Platform may link to external websites or services
  • We are not responsible for third-party content, transactions, or outcomes
  • All dealings between users and providers occur independently of us

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We exclude all warranties except those required under Australian Consumer Law
  • We are not liable for loss, damage, injury, or outcomes arising from reliance on Platform content or interactions with providers
  • Our total liability is limited to the greater of:
  • Fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months, or
  • AUD $100

18. Indemnity

Service providers indemnify us against any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:

  • Their listings or services
  • Breach of these Terms
  • Misleading or unlawful conduct

19. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access at any time.

Termination does not affect accrued rights or limitations of liability.

20. Disputes

  • Complaints must first be raised with us directly
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia
  • The courts of Victoria have exclusive jurisdiction

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

22. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control.
