Provider Listing Standards & Verification
Menopause Resource Hub is a curated directory – not an open marketplace. Providers must apply and are reviewed for relevance to perimenopause/menopause support.
What we check during review
- Relevance: The service clearly supports women through perimenopause/menopause (medical, allied health, wellbeing, or education).
- Clarity: The listing is specific, easy to understand, and not misleading.
- Professional presentation: A legitimate business presence (website and/or clear business details).
- Ethical standards: No exaggerated claims, guarantees, or fear-based marketing.
Regulated health services and advertising
Where providers advertise regulated health services, Australian advertising rules apply. We may request changes or remove content that appears to breach requirements (for example: testimonials about clinical outcomes, misleading claims, or creating unreasonable expectations).
What “Reviewed” means on our directory
“Reviewed” means the listing has been checked by our team for menopause relevance and alignment with our standards. It does not mean we endorse outcomes or replace medical advice.
Verification (optional badge)
If you introduce a “Verified” badge, define it clearly. Example:
- Verified: we have confirmed key business details (e.g., registration/credentials where applicable, and contact information) at the time of review.
- Last verified date: shown on the listing.
Ongoing quality
- Providers are expected to keep details up to date.
- We may periodically re-check listings and update verification dates.
- We may suspend or remove listings that no longer meet standards.
