Physiotherapy for Menopause
Clifton Hill Physiotherapy is an established physiotherapy, clinical exercise and rehabilitation clinic in inner Melbourne, offering specialist pelvic health physiotherapy and bone-strengthening exercise for women moving through perimenopause and menopause.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
The clinic has a dedicated pelvic health team of five physiotherapists, including two specialist pelvic health physiotherapists — Gen McGlashan and Libby Oldfield — who hold Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (FACP), the highest recognition in the profession for clinical expertise. Together, the team support women with the pelvic floor changes that often surface in midlife — bladder and bowel control, prolapse, pelvic pain, and pelvic floor weakness — as well as conditions such as endometriosis. Care is individual, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and delivered with privacy and respect.
Clinical Exercise
Through programs such as Better Bones and supervised strength and conditioning, the team helps women maintain bone density, muscle strength and mobility throughout the lifespan. Sessions are designed and supervised by physiotherapists and exercise physiologists, incorporating bone health screening so your program is individually tailored, ensuring you exercise safely and effectively.
